No B.S. Coaching Advice

Hard Choices | Career Angles

Postponing difficult decisions doesn’t make them any easier.

They postpone them. They don’t eliminate them.

They still need to be made.

Sometimes, circumstances change in the decision becomes less difficult with time. It’s as though something internally shifts under the weight in time that occurs during the delay. It’s about us. It isn’t about the difficulty, per se.

The important thing to remember is that with each hard choice you make, the next decisions become easier. With time, many of these choices, many of these decisions are made without any second-guessing.

Making difficult decisions – – that’s what men do. That’s what women do. Adults understand that choices need to be made.

The more you practice conscious decision-making, the better you become a decision-making.
