No B.S. Coaching Advice

In a Rut | Career Angles

If you’re in a rut, you don’t need to decorate it.

What you need to do is change something.

Imagine if you and every other car was driving on a road over the same piece of terrain creating a rut.

They would do it day after day, year after year, nothing changing.

It wouldn’t take long for ruts to form and cars would, in effect, keep digging and digging deeper rut for themselves.

Sound familiar?

How would the car get out of the rut lines in the road?

The driver would turn the wheel slightly and elevate their view from the car and they could see things with a different perspective than when they were completely in the rut.

Turn your wheel slightly.

Do something differently.

Once you see things differently, do something different!

It doesn’t have to be a big thing.

Develop a new habit of turning the wheel ever so slightly so that you’re not trapped in the right.

You will be out of it quickly.
