No B.S. Coaching Advice

Playing Small |

Have you accepted your condition/circumstances/status? Why?

Hi, I’m Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. I’m referred to as The Big Game Hunter because I coach people to play the game big. You know, the game of job search, their careers, their lives, you know, play the game big.

Playing small. Let me ask you that question. Point blank. Are you playing small? Have you accepted your condition? Are you trying to change? Let’s look at what your life is like.

I don’t know what it is. I’m just a guy with a webcam right now, with a microphone in front of them asking questions. What’s your life like? Are you happy with it? I’m not saying you don’t like certain parts of it. But overall, if tomorrow was the day that you die, is thahe way you’d want to go out? Would you be completely satisfied with it? Are you the man or woman you’ve always wanted to be? For most of you, the answer is, “no.” For almost all the people I talked to, the answer was no.

And the reality is that you can change. You can do things differently. And you don’t have to figure it out for yourself. You can get an ally to help you. It can be a wife, partner, husband. Itcould be a friend, colleague. More often than not, it’s a coach who looks at you and is able to ask the questions that you need to have asked and provide you with the support that will help you move forward.

Now, at the end of the day, if you’re satisfied with your circumstances, stop complaining about them. If you aren’t satisfied with them, do something about them. And I really want to encourage you to do something about them because, at the end of the day, a lifetime is not a long time. You can do something about many of them. Maybe not instantly, but you can start laying the foundation with small incremental changes that’s going to make a difference in your life and how you live it.

I’m Jeff Altman, I hope you found this helpful. My website is I’d love to coach you. Reach out to me through the site. Let’s schedule a time to speak. Have a great day.
