What Would It Take? | NoBSCoachingAdvice.com

(FROM THE ARCHIVES) I ask this question and others to help you start thinking in ways that will serve your desires.

TRANSCRIPT

Hi, I’m Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter and, in this particular case, I’m you referring to The Big Game Hunter as helping people find the big game in their life, the one that they really want to play, the one they want to succeed at.

You know, I gave this video a provocative title–“What Would It Take”– because, for most of you, you’re suffering in isolation. You want to do things differently, but you feel like you have to do it by yourself.  That isn’t working for you. Trust me, it’s not working. It’s why you’re watching this video. You know change is appropriate. You know, you need to do things differently. And you’re trying to force yourself into doing that thing, develop that habit, that behavior, do that one thing that you think is going to make you happy. And if it was that easy, you would have done it by now. You know that.

If it was that easy to lose that weight, run that distance, manage your finances, go out and develop relationships with people, you would have done it by now. But it’s hard, and no amount of force is going to suddenly make it easy and less uncomfortable for you. Y

What I’ll say is you need support. You need to create an environment where you can get the results that you want, and maybe, make it into a game. Have some fun with it. Get some backing in your life.

Now, sometimes you can do this with friends, but most of the time you can’t because they’re going to give you three “poor babies,” when you don’t succeed, and not really do the right kind of accountability to help you transcend this self-imposed limitation.

Coaching will help you with that. Coaching will allow you to develop a relationship with your coach that’s going to support you over three or six months system. This isn’t therapy, where we’re where we would look at, “Oh, poor baby” Your mommy was very mean to you,” or “your daddy was cruel.” It’s irrelevant.

It’s about designing actions, designing a game that you can win over a fixed period of time to help you get the results that you want. If you’d like more about coaching, visit NoBSCoachingAdvice.com. You can find out more about me there.

Have a great day. Take care.
